I have been here twice so far and had great service both times. The first time was because my little dog had a scratch on his eye, the vet and staff were very nice and the prices were reasonable.
Dr. Meier took really good care of my elderly dog when she needed dental work, and he will be very honest with you about prognosis, I like a no-nonsense vet. Also, this clinic was affordable for my pet needs, and the staff is very friendly. I highly recommend them.
I have been going to Leon Valley Vet Hospital since 2008. I routinely recommend Dr. Meier and his clinic. He has a way of not only calming the owner in an emergency, but connecting with the animals in his care. He is not afraid to get on the floor and spend the extra time with a scared dog or cat so they have a positive experience. My dogs love him, which isn't always the case when they have to see a different specialty vet. Highly recommend this clinic. Thunder has been his client for over 10 years.
I just wanted to say thank you to Dr. Meier and his staff. This place has left a lasting impression on me and my older son who recently had to put his Jack Russell (Max) of 13 years to sleep. They were all so kind at such a hard time. The sympathy card came in yesterday and was filled with kind hearted messages of care and support. My husband and I have had many animals but have never seen this kind of genuine care during such a difficult time. Thank you.
Dr. M and his team have been wonderful to our 5 dogs and 2 cats for over 10 years. He is committed to giving the best care to all the animals but also cares about their humans very much, he will not try to push unnecessary procedures and will always give you the most honest and transparent advice and consider all options. We have been very lucky to have him as our veterinarian.
This was our first time here. After looking around for a good vet, we decided to bring our min pin here for a dental procedure. I was stressed about the procedure, but Dr. Meier was very kind and informative about everything. The staff was amazing, they really care about their patients and it shows! My Harley has been so much happier and more active since the procedure, he’s like a new dog. Overall, we had a great experience. I highly recommend this veterinarian.
Dr. Meier is a very good, old school, country vet. Once you have an established patient, he will fit you in when urgent matters come up. Very affordable. Doesn't do elaborate treatments but can send off for special panels when necessary. Knows where to send you when he can't help. Very friendly, caring front staff.
Been taking my dog here for 2 years now. My dog struggles with pretty bad allergies, so we come in often to manage the allergies. The people are very friendly and and have taken great care in supporting my dog.
